Simple Brussel Sprouts
Brussel sprouts taste great when you prepare them well. This oven-baked recipe yields a soft, delectable green that makes an excellent side.
I used about 1lb of brussel sprouts but the process is the same for any amount.
Preheat oven to 385 degrees F.
Melt 2 Tbsp of coconut oil in baking dish. I do this while the oven is preheating. You can also use avocado oil.
Rinse the brussel sprouts and place in baking dish.
Bake in oven uncovered for 20-25 min, until brussel sprouts are soft. When they are ready, you can insert a fork easily into them.
Don’t eat hard brussel sprouts. They’re not bio-available.
Mix the brussel sprouts to coat with oil. Top with salt and pepper and enjoy!
