Keto Chocolate Sunflower Butter Fat Bomb
I love fat bombs so much ! I’ve been enjoying making tasty, super food, sugar-free fat bombs for breakfast… I mean, dessert.
Not only do they taste good, fat bombs are an opportunity for 💪 maximum nutrition.
Why eat something mediocre when you can eat something that tastes great and provides your body with amazing quality nutrients? C’mon – love yourself !
I jam pack my fat bombs with super foods. Check out this simple recipe:
Ingredients
50g cacao butter
50g sunflower seed butter
45g coconut butter
15g cacao powder. When possible, I use the higher fat red cacao. It is more aromatic.
1 Tbsp ground sesame seed
1 Tbsp ground chia seeds
1 Tbsp hemp heart seeds
1 Tbsp vanilla whey powder. I use the grass fed Whey Isolate from Kaizen Naturals. It is yummy & sweetened with stevia.
10-20 drops stevia liquid. To taste.
Bonus: 1-2 scoops of your favourite collagen powder. *highly recommended*.
Process
Melt the butters in a double boiler. Check out my jerry-rigged set-up below:
Mix in the ground seeds and powders. Blend thoroughly.
I keep it simple a make square fat bomb bars. I line a container with wax paper and pour in my chocolate super food liquid.
Refrigerate or freeze until solid.
E voila ! Super food keto dessert.
Psst, Ladies: Do you seed cycle?
This is a great recipe for day 1-14. I recommend 2-3x the amount of sesame seeds per batch. That way you get more health oils that help keep your cycle smooth.
Don’t forget to get your omega 3 oils.
